Asset valuation for green energy projects: the Eneverse Kunkuat case

2022.08.12

As of 2021, Kazakhstan had 15 large solar and wind power plants in operation. The country’s climate is well suited for the development of solar and wind energy: the north and east of Kazakhstan have strong wind conditions with average speeds of 4–5 m/s, while the south and east benefit from up to 3,000 hours of sunlight per year.

In 2019, Eneverse Kunkuat LLP commissioned a solar power plant (SPP) in the Almaty region. One of the largest solar power facilities in the country, with a total capacity of 100 MW, was launched near the city of Kapshagay. The project was financed through loans from the Development Bank of Kazakhstan and BRK-Leasing.

To secure the loans with collateral, Eneverse Kunkuat LLP required a high-quality business and asset valuation.

✔️ PKF Valuation of Property carried out the valuation of business and assets for collateral purposes properly and within the client’s deadlines, and the results were accepted by financial institutions.

✔️ We continue to cooperate with Eneverse Kunkuat LLP and periodically provide valuation of its business and assets.
