In December 2025, representatives of PKF Valuation of Property — company head Oleg Chesnokov, head of human resources Leila Abdrakhmanova, and marketing specialist Arailym Bissekova — met with the faculty members of the department of economics and management of the Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Telecommunication Systems.

The Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Telecommunication Systems is one of the leading multidisciplinary universities in the region, with its history dating back to 2008.

Today, the university comprises seven departments offering 20 bachelor’s and 2 master’s degree programs. Over the years, the university has trained more than 35,000 professionals for the national economy, including members of the Senate and the Mazhilis, employees of ministries and government agencies, as well as executives and specialists of public and private organizations. The university is actively working towards integration into the unified educational information environment of the Eurasian Economic Union countries and continues to consistently develop its innovative and scientific infrastructure.

During the meeting, the head of PKF Valuation of Property, an appraiser with over 20 years of professional experience and holder of international qualifications RICS, CFA, as well as the ACCA Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business, Oleg Chesnokov, shared his practical perspective on the current position of the valuation profession in the labor market. He spoke about international qualifications and career opportunities for specialists working in valuation and corporate finance.

In turn, representatives of the university highlighted the current challenges faced by academic programs in valuation, including the shortage of educational and methodological materials, as well as the importance of interdisciplinary links with related fields such as Accounting and Auditing and Economics. During the discussion, both parties explored potential formats of cooperation aimed at bridging academic education with the practical demands of the market.

As part of the discussion on workforce development, head of human resources Leila Abdrakhmanova presented PKF Valuation of Property’s approach to organizing student internships, traineeships, and the adaptation, training, and professional development of young specialists.

Following the negotiations, a cooperation agreement was signed between PKF Valuation of Property and the Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Telecommunication Systems. The agreement provides for the development of partnership in human capital training, participation of company specialists in career guidance activities, joint work with university faculty on educational programs in Valuation and the Corporate Finance subcourse, as well as support for student internships and subsequent employment at PKF Valuation of Property.

According to marketing specialist Arailym Bissekova, such cooperation creates strategic value for both parties by opening opportunities for joint educational and professional projects, as well as for the mutual strengthening and long-term development of both brands.

PKF Valuation of Property expresses its sincere gratitude for the warm welcome, hospitality, meaningful and professional discussion and the start of cooperation. Special thanks are extended to Sakеn Isagaliyev, head of the department of economics and management, Kira Laubert, head of the internship and employment department, and the entire faculty for the excellent organization of the visit and openness to collaboration.

We believe that this partnership will become a solid foundation for training competitive professionals and will contribute to the development of the professional community in valuation and corporate finance.
