The Eurasian Development Bank reports steady economic growth in Kazakhstan
2022.10.04The Forbes magazine published information from the analysts of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) about the economic situation in Kazakhstan.
According to analysts, Kazakhstan’s GDP grew by 4.4% from January to April 2022. The volume of goods produced increased by 5.1% year-on-year, and services — by 3.4% year-on-year. Positive dynamics in industry were driven by manufacturing and mining sectors, including a 5% increase in oil production.
Growth in the services sector was supported by positive dynamics in transport and storage, trade, information and communications. The economy also received additional support from agriculture and construction. Goods exports increased by 65.8%.
